The Red and White nines were built on gently rolling pasture land and opened in 1962, featuring generous landing areas, large greens with subtle undulations, and strategically placed bunker complexes. The Blue nine arrived a decade later in 1972, carved through the pine forests of Southern New Jersey and offering a tighter, more demanding layout where course management is key. Together, they form three unique 18-hole combinations that keep the game fresh no matter how many times you play.

Ramblewood rewards players who think before they swing. On the Red and White nines, generous fairways open the door to scoring — but forced carries over water, multi-bunker green complexes, and subtle slopes demand precision when it counts most. The Blue nine raises the stakes: tight pine-framed corridors, more severely contoured greens, and a core golf course feel that challenges even experienced players.
Whether you’re choosing the Red/White, White/Blue, or Blue/Red combination, no two rounds at Ramblewood feel alike. Each 18-hole setup plays between 6,490 and 6,709 yards from the back tees, with rating and slope combinations ranging from 71.1/127 to 71.8/126 — competitive enough for the serious player, and welcoming enough that golfers of all skill levels enjoy a quality round.

Ramblewood Country Club is a semi-private club open to both members and public players. Golf memberships offer priority access, preferred tee time windows — up to 21 days out versus 14 for the public — and a genuine sense of community at one of Burlington County’s most active clubs. Open up with a par 4 that measures 383 yards. You will notice a bunker left and trees down the right side which tells you trouble is not too hard to find. The approach is to a smaller green and protected by three bunkers.

The 384-yard 4th has the widest fairway on the course. But OB left and a narrow hazard the length of the hole on the right could spell trouble. This medium sized green has two bunkers left and on right ready to catch poor approaches.

A long par 3 at 206 yards. A mishit tee shot may find the large pond in front of the green. If it carries, you better hope that it does not find one of the two bunkers protecting the front of the green.

A gettable par 5 at 513 yards. Trees and bunker down the right of the hole must be avoided. Slight dogleg to the right as you approach the green. The green is heavily bunkered on the left side with four and two more on the right.

At 392 yards, the par 4 5th is the hardest of the par 4s on the course. A tight fairway with bunkers just left and a hazard down the whole right side give small room for error. If you manage to find the fairway, you are rewarded with a big target of a green. Just be mindful with the four bunkers surrounding the green.

Another long par 3, 208 yards will get you there. One bunker left and two bunkers right of a green with a lot of real estate.

Another par 5 that is reachable in two. At 506 yards, long hitters will look to cut off the slight right dogleg for a closer approach. Just be cautious not to catch one of the three bunkers on the right. Left of this green is the dreaded pond from #3 looking to swallow up another ball. Best to bail right where you might find a bunker.

Tee shot at 8 is 377 yards from home. Look to be on the right side of this hole, for the left has two bunkers, and is heavily tree lined. A medium sized green looks like a big target for a short iron from there, go for the hole!

The finishing hole is only 363 yards, but it doesn’t make it easy. OB left and crowded with trees right, the tee shot on nine can be a little intimidating. The approach to this green is uphill and has two large bunkers to the right ready ruin anyone’s plans to finish strong.

This opening hole par 4 plays 376 yards from the back tee. Look to place your tee shot just short of the bunkers on the left, where the fairway is widest. The small green is protected by two bunkers left and one right so be careful if you decide to go pin hunting.

The second hole is the easiest of all par 4s. Measuring at 360 yards and trees lining both sides, an accurate tee shot will leave you with a short/mid iron for your approach, giving you the green light to stick it close!

The longer of the two par 5s, the third hole is 535 yards. A straight tee shot avoids the trees left and bunkers right. Smart play is laying up before the water on the right side, but long hitters may think of getting home in two. Three bunkers protect this small green in front and both sides.

The longest of the par 4s at 450 yards. An elevated tee shot with trees down the right side and OB left requires a long and accurate tee shot. A long/mid iron may be required to get to a larger green with two bunkers on each side to catch any errant approach shots.

A monstrous par 3 going 221 yards. Tee shot is hit over a large pond on the right and OB left to a larger green that is guarded by two bunkers right and one left.

A par 5 that is 472 yards?! Be careful, trouble lurks on both sides of this hole. Longer hitters must be careful not to hit their ball too far for it could end up in the hazard that crosses the fairway. Just short of that makes this hole reachable in two. Though this green is narrow and protected by three well placed bunkers.

The tee shot on this par 4 at 386 yards is slightly uphill. Too far left and find yourself OB. Miss right and caught up by either a bunker or some tree trouble. Downhill is the second shot to a medium sized green with bunkers short right and left.

This is a tricky long par 4. You are limited off the tee because of a hazard that cuts off the fairway and trees line both sides of the hole. A long, second shot uphill to a small green does not make this whole any easier. Watch out for the bunker short right of this green.

Easiest hole on the course to finish, a short par 3 distanced at 155 yards from an elevated tee to a large green but surrounded by bunkers, especially short, so take enough club.

A long par 3 to start, 214 yards strong. A large green to hit to, but shots hit off line tend to find the massive bunker to the left or smaller one to the right.

This short par 4 offers a little relief after a tough par 3. Playing 320 yards, a tight tee shot leaves little room for error. A long iron or wood is all that is needed to find the short grass. A short iron or wedge should find the green and set you up for a try at birdie.

Most of this 531-yard par 5 is downhill. With OB left and trees right, the tee shot calls for more accuracy than distance, though, players who can hit the long ball can risk carrying their tee shot over the hazard that crosses the fairway giving them a much better chance to get there in two. Conservative players will look to lay up where this hole flattens, around 150-100 yards to the hole. A good short iron shot should avoid the three bunkers surrounding the green.

Another long and tough par 3, stretching 193 yards, this hole doesn’t leave you much room to miss. Trees left and a hazard short will have most players looking to miss to the right, which could find one of two bunkers.

Less than driver may be the right call for this 370-yard par 4. OB left and trees to the right threaten your chances of making birdie on this gettable hole. After finding the fairway, a mid/short iron should be all that’s needed to cozy your approach up close.

370 yards again, but with water! Less than driver is strongly recommended here. Something that will leave you with about 145 yards to the green will set you up perfect to attack this green.

An even short par 4 at 354 yards, finding the fairway here is important. Trees left and right, with a bunker also on the right. A slightly elevated green with a bunker left and another short right, don’t sleep on this hole or it might cost you.

A short par 5 that plays longer than its sounds at 482 yards, a drive uphill that ends just short of the hazard sets you up with a good look to get there in two. Just be careful of OB left and trees right. Two bunkers short of the green on each side could penalize any bad shots on your approach.

Similar to # 2, this 324-yard par 4 can help you finish strong. OB left and right with a bunker also on the right side, a wood or long iron should be the play here. After finding the fairway, a mid/short iron could help you stick it close and finish with a birdie.
